  • ORICON FAKE page

  • ORICON has made a special page for FAKE:

I haven't had time to skim through it so I don't know what it's saying.. okay wait... it says in their that shirushi was sung nicely while FAKE was sung violently.... hahahahahaha.. umm it also says that FAKE's theme is the idea of a lie that is believed... like you believe your own lies. Additionally you're suppose to listen to the song with your heart and soul. They also quote Sakurai's post that I had posted here about him talking about what is real and fake in the world.

  • Yahoo! Japan article

  • An article looking back on the groups career... I skimmed through it and it says May 2007 will be their 15th Anniversary, and that people who listen to Mr.Children say the songs bring back certain memories. The article looks back at the theme songs they did for TV shows and movies, and just like I had posted Sakurai's explaination of FAKE, they also make note that the lyrics to FAKE are based on the theme of human lust and conflict that can also be seen in the movie. Finally, according to the article there is a lot of hype around FAKE right now and it has been getting a lot of attention because of its lyrics.
